There are a fair few brand” names that are commonly used as the generic product, not sure it is a hanging offence.
Google it and you will see.

Numatic mischievously give Henry the model number HVR like a nod to what everyone calls it.
I did use my Henry Compact for cleaning up plaster rubble and dust last year when the windows were replaced and it did well. Just think it would be better with that extra power the old model had. Having a hoover with a bag really helps with that kind of job too.

We bought a "Manufacturer refurbished" Vax upright cleaner over a year ago, about £60 on Ebay. Was like new but no original packaging, Works great and has plenty of suction.0

I have just bought a new brushroll bar for my Dyson DCO7, which is great for carpets.
Yes, but i recommended the one best suited to OP`s renovationsNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0 -

Thanks guys. I did think about titling "vaccum cleaner" but you know, hoover is shorter
We will have mainly wooden floors throughout so I think a Henry is probably a good call, thanks!0 -
For any building work i'd go for the Screwfix.

Not used the wet feature yet, but cleaned out my old computers with the blower function.
Then id get another for usual domestic duties.
No way would i use my expensive Dyson on building debris!0 -

.
Or Henry Vacuum Range?
Other models numbers are HVB (battery model) HVX (xtra model) HVA (allergy model) HVW (wash model). The HVR model was original called the HVC model (the first Henry), they added a Retractable cable for the HVR.0 -

I understand how colloquialisms work, just thought it would be interesting for others who might not know the mistake.0
