Parents income - benefits?

I’m trying to work out how much my daughter is likely to get for her maintenance loan for a course starting in Sep 20, living away from home in London.
Do we count the tax credits and child benefit we receive as our income? I can’t seem to find anything that says what benefits we include or might exclude.
Also, as I’m self employed and I made a loss in the year that is assessed, for tax credit purposes, I can deduct this loss from my husband’s income. Does that apply for student finance as well, or not.
Thanks.

See the form here, it tells you what benefits you have to include. Basically taxable benefits, so you don't need to declare tax credits or child ben. https://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/1920/ft/sfe_pff2_form_1920_o.pdf
Not sure whether you offset self employed losses, doesn't seem to be a section on the form where you can declare losses unless you put a negative figure in self employed income!0 -
Thanks, this answers my questions.0
