Parking Eye - UHW Cardiff

Recently had to take my wife into hospital - due to A&E being a bit crap we were there for 9 hours.
The car park allows 4 hours and then you can extend for a further 4 - which I did.
So we were outside the time- however the "landowner" NHS Wales is at fault as far as I'm concerned.
I don't see any point in appeal ( happy to be told otherwise ), but is it worth speaking to NHS Wales or will they just wash their hands of it?

Complain to PALS using the NHS guidelines

Getting them to cancel it is your best option
A complaint could be made to NHS Wales although I am not sure it will do any good
Parking Eye do take people to court , even for that site , so ignoring would be foolish0 -
Please read these

Have they complied?

Several PE claims have been thrown out of court recently because of their "War and Peace" length sign so major on signage if this goes to court.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Still make the complaints to your MP and to Boris. This should never have happened in the first place.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Great!
Could you type the email address for them here, for newbies to see, or link to a webpage if you had to fill in a concerns form?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
