e-rewards to collect Avios

I’ve been using e-rewards as a means to collect Avios for a number of years and without a massive amount of effort can generally collect 2,000 a month. I’ve just noticed that the last three redemptions are now shown as failed and the points have been recredited to my e-rewards account. I’m pretty sure that this occurred today but the Avios for these redemptions are still in my BA account at time of writing.

One thing which may have prompted this is that I redeemed some points after about 20 days which is against the t&cs (30 days). Up until now you got an error message if you tried to convert too early so I assumed that the 30 days had passed. I could and should have looked at my history.

I know that e-rewards can throw people off of the system at a whim and am hoping that this isn’t the start of that process. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

there was a problem a few months ago with BA's system. Have to contacted e-rewards?

I did think about contacting them but I didn’t want to alert them to the fact that I redeemed too early in case they close my account. I will leave it for now but monitor my Avios account to see if I get debited there.

My next redemption date is 11th so I’ll see what happens then.

Just to tidy this up, the account was corrected a short while ago and I've since redeemed for another 2,000 Avios without issue,
