With only13 people moved to UC in the six months the managed pilot in Harrogate has been running I wouldn't be surprised if they have to go beyond 2024. Of course the longer managed migration is delayed the more people with have 'naturally' migrated due to a change of circumstances and they don't benefit from transitional protection.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
I agree that the theory behind UC is a good one but, as so often with new systems in the public sector in particular, the timescale for development was far too short, as was the implementation timetable, underfunded, staff under trained.
Unfortunately nobody ever seems to learn from previous failures and ploughs the same well worn furrow.0
