TNC PCN on behalf of P4parking without ticke issued

Good evening.
I am looking for some help & advice please. After spending 2 hours looking through the various threads, I have not found the help I require.
On 25/1/2020 I received a letter from TNC for a PCN dated 18/1/2020 on letter for a sum of £125. I was NOT issued a ticket on my car & this is the first I have heard from them. I was in the area they have said on 17/12/2019 & there is clear signs up. I was picking up a friends dog & was there for 3 minutes. TNC are insisting that I must pay this amount within 28 days or will be passed to their recovery team where ADDITIONAL FEES will be added to the amount which is currently available.

Hoping for some advice.
Thank you in advance.

ok TNC ARE the debt collectors

P4 are bpa , as ticket was for 17/12/2019 send the appeal in the newbies , as have not got to 56 days yet

I also feel that a complaint should be made to the bpa , as this was a screen ticket (not)n and instead of writing to you between days 29 -56 they have sent it to debt collectors who have added monies on

in fact its plainly obvious that the earliest that p4 could have asked for your details was the 14/01 , 3 days before TNC wrote to you with inflated costs

    get this reported
  • Thank you very much for the quick reply.
Yes exactly pcn was for £100 & TNC added £25 for admin. There are cameras everywhere on the Woolwich Arsenal estate London, so maybe got my car reg from these?
Shall I go ahead & write letter to the Bpa?
  • no .do the appeal to P4 , not TNC . also contact dvla and ask who / when asked for your info

it looks to me as if TNC have asked DVLA for your info on day 29 on behalf of P4 then instead of sending NTK , have sent threatagram

    this is not cricket !
  • It most certainly isn't! Thank you.
Is there an appeal template to use on this site?

Tnc have probably sent a notice to to keeper. If it isnt then just ignored them.
  • A notice to keeper should not include an extra £25
  • Tnc obtained my details from dvla using reasonable cause request & issued PCN which also states pcn was fixed to vehicle which was certainly not the case
  • QED

ticket on car = cannot apply for info until day 29

TNC send NTK with a £25 addon

this was (marked as) posted about 4 days after 29 days , therefore if they state it was follow up letter(?) they have not allowed correct time for your reply to (non existent) NTK

definitely reportable to the BPA , and indeed the DVLA
  • Not stated follow up letter. This is the only correspondence recieved from both TNC & P4parking
  • it is ILLEGAL to ask for any fugue exceeding £100 at NTK stage

therefore TNC and P4 need reporting , hopefully the BPA will sanction or even ban them and the DVLA may stop there access to info from them

TNC has cropped up for many years and where being watched by the BPA (recently)

please add to the complaints , a scan of the NTK stating £125 , and explaining dates would be a start

perhaps CM can suggest a suitable BPA email address/contact
