Sky Essentials

I’m looking at this offer from Sky.
Sky Essentials
A neat all-in-one offer
✔ Super reliable and unlimited broadband
✔ Chat anytime day or night with free UK calls
✔ Record, pause and rewind with our Sky± box
✔ 3-year price guarantee
All for only
£26 a month Line rental included
18-month contract and £25 upfront set-up fee
At the minute I have : -
Virgin Big Easy Bundle £64.45
Netflix £8.99 pm
Deezer (not sure if that counts!)
I’m aware that Sky broadband is much slower but I’m not sure if that would effect me.
I am also aware it is an old Sky box – again don’t I know if that would affect me
We wouldn’t watch a lot of channels but I would record 1 – 2 shows per day mostly from freeview channels.
I think there may be a problem with email addresses if I leave Virgin but I’m hoping I could work through that.
£26 per month for 3 years seems a no-brainer for me but it’s making me a bit nervous that there is no sign of it on any of the comparison sites!
I contacted Virgin who offered to reduce monthly bill by £10.
Any help would be gratefully received thanks.

Yes you will lose your VM email at some stage . Easy enough to move to a non ISP email .0

Don't forget that the VM and Sky services are on different lines and if you want to retain your phone number you need to cancel VM in such a way that you can do this. If this is important I don't think its advisable just to expect the VM to end and the Sky service to start on the same day. There are tales on this forum of switches not taking place on the stated date.0

ok thanks - I think I could sort out my email and I'm not so fussed about phone number.
I guess I really just don't understand why people wouldn't 'jump' at broadband, calls and tv for £25 per month for 3 years. I pretty sure I'm missing something0 -
Is Sky Essentials only 11Mbps.
