What happens if the Claimant misses the deadline from the court to submit their evidenceIf you live long enough you will get old0
-
You ask the court to strike out the claim (at the hearing) due to the claimant providing no evidence. Aare you sure they have missed the deadline or is it just late?0

I suspect this is a precursor to a discontinuation by CEL - the leopard rarely charges its spots. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

finchman said:If they do submit late what is the point of having a deadline? The major issue is that while you have every incentive to comply, because the penalty is personal and possibly significant for you, they are issuing claims like confetti as part of a purely business operation, and if a number are struck out, so be it, in the process they will have scared so many other people witless, that money will be flowing into their coffers like a waterfall. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
