  • I submitted yesterday albeit struggled to find the correct email address for the hearing court. Rang CNCC and they didn't have one either. Sent off and no receipt email to confirm it's been received. Again CNCC contacted and they said "sometimes they send receipt email, sometimes they don't". Concerning - how do you know if it's been received?!

Also, deadline was yesterday to receive The Claimants files, nothing received via email nor post as yet. Any advice?

Thank you everyone. Your support is truly appreciated.

Why didn't you ring the local court?

The CNBC is just a gateway at the start and have nothing to do with the case now and haven't been involved for months.

Ring the local court and ask if they received your email AND did they receive anything from the Claimant?

  • They told me the court don't take calls, but I now know that's just not true. Found a contact number online but it's not for my local hearing centre. They have confirmed receipt of both my pack and the claimants pack. As mentioned, claimants haven't sent anything to me and the deadline was 4pm 13th Feb. Court advised me to send an email to request a pack from them and make it clear that they've not followed the directions. Anything else from your point of view? Thanks again.

You certainly DO NOT do that!

  • How do you suggest we proceed with this @Coupon-mad ? It feels a disadvantage for them to see our papers but us have no access to theirs, knowing they're going to argue "they sent them". Thanks in advance.

You just attend the hearing and raise the point first that you filed & served your WS but the Claimant failed to comply with the order.

Pack received from Claimant on 17.02, stamped for delivery by 15.02. Both dates exceed the two weeks before hearing deadline of 13.02 @ 4pm. I'm assuming you'd advise this is the point I raise first. Thanks!

Note - pack unopened as yet. Sneakily they added an additional seal to the envelope. No doubt will say we opened the pack and added this.
