I totally agree with you i am totally confused and overwhelmed by it all and just keep getting told to read the newbies posts ... but i don't understand them and i am not a stupid person .... I have used the template as my appeal but don't know what to do when they reply i have no idea ,, this has all gone over my head , what do i do when they come back at me ???? I know this subject seems to have been discussed a million times and people are probably fed up of repeating themselves ... i have spent hours reading the threads and am still not fully understanding it all .
So if you find out what it all about please let me know .... I am thinking i will have to end up paying the hefty charge the debt company want from me ...

You have my sympathy Billy No Mat.
I too am not a stupid person and have been reading the threads for over 10hrs today.
Good luck with your case.
Hopefully we may get some clarity on here
I would also read the post above yours as it may be worth opening a new thread as Redx says.
It may not get noticed on this bit.0 -
it will get noticed, definitely
but it wont be responded to
it will be sent to an archive for posts that should never have been in this INFORMATION ONLY thread, as mentioned in that post by crabman above
no queries are allowed in this thread and any queries will not be answered in this thread too, the only advice anyone will get is to open their own thread where the queries will be answered , which is my response to you both
I have just answered the dave747 query in the new thread , plus the billynomates query in their thread
as for this thread, sensible people will delete their posts in here after opening them elsewhere in their own threads, the rest will be archived into the spam thread0 -
I have opened a new thread Dave
Just made me feel better seeing someone else who didn't understand

Redx has quickly responded to my thread Billy so may be worth a read0

Hi all / admin / everyone posting
Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all advise on this portal.
I had an unfair PCN from Civil Enforcement and they decided to take me to court.
I have read most of the posts and whitens statements here and followed all instructions how to get through the court process. I have been brave replying to all court letter and providing statements and questioners as advised here. I received a date for court hearing for early February 2020 but last week Civil Enforcement sent me a letter they cancelled all court proceedings against me
This was the happiest day for me! My statements were good enough and they probably didn't think they will win.
Everyone please fight for your right and hopefully you will win in the end!
Thank you for all advise and all the work you are doing here helping people
You are the best!

No doubt these latest posts will (rightly) drift into the archive, but for the moment another example of just how to do it, by a 1-post newbie. There are a number of current OPs who should take note! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi , apologies if it this isnt in the correct thread or post. I have read the newbies post and there is a significant amount to digest. I have defended a claim of civil enforcement to take me to court and I have a mediation call with them today. I fully appreciate I should have looked here sooner and responded using one of the templates , but didn't. I did dispute some similar agruments and didn't state I was the driver.
My question is, if/should I mediate , can is still log a detailed defence using the templates as suggested ? Will they still work if I don't agree to the mediation or settlement fee ? To my knowledge the mediation is to be down by the company CE and not the courts. Any advice would be greatly appreciated0 -
Please post your questions in a thread of your own , not this one
This thread is for information only and all these extra posts have been reported for removal , the last post in this thread should be the post by crabman that tells you and others not to post in here
Use the red new thread button , to the left at the top of this forum

Hi there I am not very good at using this site I have only just worked out how to write this. I have read lots of the threads regarding this but my problem is slightly different so wondered if anyone could help? My friend borrowed my car 3 years ago and got two parking tickets from pps there was a photo of her driving the car. I just ignored it and now suddenly they have passed me onto BWLegal saying that if I don’t pay them
Within 30 days they will make a claim against me.y friend lives in Australia and doesn’t have a uk address. I am wondering what the best cause of action is now. The fine is over £300 and neither of us can afford to pay. She didn’t realise she got a
Ticket at the time as it was sent via post.0 -
Sorry I don’t even know how to start my own thread I only just seen your message saying no more threads . I am
