Do I need both...?

I have phone and Broadband with BT - I'm looking for a cheaper deal (naturally). I don't understand if I need to keep the BT line (and charges) IN ADDITION to those cheap BB rates advertised on TV?

Generally, when you move Landline/BB provider you move the entire thing - Landline rental, Calls and BB. The costs you see will be for that entire package, and may also include some kind of calls bundle too.

    As above .
They should say they include line rental . That is the land line and it can be transferred to another ISP .
You pay charges to rent this landline that the data for your BB travels over .Phone calls up to you if you use or not .
If you are out of contract with BT ask them what they will offer you to stay .
