Warning To All Sky Customers

Thanks for the warning. I just rang using the number you gave me and opted out. I've worked very hard to stop my name getting on junk mailing lists so I'm really annoyed that they are being so sneaky! The mag always goes straight in the bin.
They are not being sneaky, if you read your original contract you signed and have a copy of its all there in black and white:rolleyes:0 -
Hi Deanos you may be right but looking at the way the way the leaflet is worded I wouldn’t be so sure. If you are right then it is a very poorly worded and it does state on the flyer that it is a change in their privacy policy.

Sky are so unbelievably inefficient, I take comfort from the notion that they'd not even find my details, let alone pass them on. I'm more fussed about how it is virtually impossible to get hold of someone to talk to there. I lose the will to live just thinking about calling them.0

What's all the fuss about, every criminal in the land has probably got hold of your name address and bank details by now, perhaps we should be getting worked up about that, and not the prospect of a bit more junk mail. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I agree with you this is not good. They should have written individually to customers if they were going to do this.
At least you got the info though - since I cut my package to 4 mixes I was told I was no longer eligible for the SKy magazine (not that I miss it much, lol!) and so I expect I will not be receiving this information at all. Surely this is illegal?MAD!!
