Hi,
Need further advice as I have received the reply from yardmaster..they have put all the blame to my assembly.Actually I did had problems initially as I was trying to assemble it myself and I wrote email to them as well. They offered me advice on phone as they are based in ireland which was of no use,so at the end I had to get professional builders to assemble it...but they are saying that since i had problems with assembly so i must have not done it properly which resulted in collapse. They have also accused me that i would have stood on the roof leading to collapse,as they say that the shed is not meant to bear human weight and they have never received any complain like this and it is sturdy enough to bear strong winds. They have refused to refund me.I dont know what should be my next step now...so please advice me...

My mum had one of these sheds also bought from argos. My mum had hers nearly 8 months and it started to rust. In the end she had a specialist look at the shed and basically he said it was bad manufacturing. Argos are selling the sheds as one thing where as they are actually something else ! Will ring my mum tonight and see if i can get all the details off her... Every bit of info you can get will help i suppose ?furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
Hmm..maybe contact your local trading standards office and explain that you've had a qualified professonal (sp)put the shed together and that its the poor quality of the shed thats the problem. Im sure they would agree that your shed should last a lot longer than a few months and may take up your case:xmassmile hope it works out for you..Hi,

result - complete new 3 piece suite xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
send argos and the manufactuer a 14 day letter of claim by recorded delivery.
Head the letter 14 days to issue court proceedings and explain what has happened.
state that you will also claim for the damage to the property concerned, court costs and intrerest.
send it by recorded delivery0 -
I would say as the matter is important, Iwould upgrand to guarenteed delievery, go for 1pm next day, its £4.30, but its a godsend, more reliable than recorded delievery, more of an outlay but def shifts in the right direction.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
