ID please!

I have always thought this plant which I have had for nearly 30 years is a Yucca however certain people disagree! Any thoughts please?

    It’s been indoors since 1989! I’m very confused.... a better photo below.... inside or out? Some people tell me it’s a dragon tree.... Help!!

    Yes, I want to cut the top off and replant.... ok to do at this time of year?
  • What colour are the roots?...yellowy orange dracaena, White cordyline. Either can be cut back to whatever height you want. Not outsude until the summer likes high humidy so bathroom rather than dry living areas

    Ha! ...possibly! at the very base it looks like the bark of yucca is forming and yuccas have sharp points to the leaves or edges along the leaves. Were they sharp before they went brown?
