Hi grogged, just wanted to say hi as I’ve caught up with your diary after seeing you posting on others. Best of luck with the oping and the music lists 😀 I’m doing an end of the world film list to keep us sane (or even more scared!) during these weird times 😂

If you're doing an end of the world music list as well, then this one has to be on it:
    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!

    Thanks @newgirly and @South_coast
Right time to get my thinking caps on!
I take it these are what you want to watch/listen to rather than themed on the end of the world...

In MFW news the NW wrote to tell me that my March quarterly OP of £500 has taken 2 months of the term. Was expecting 1, so very happy 🐰!
That two month saving is nearly £1,400 in real payments. 😮
On that basis, over the 5 year fix that's potentially 3.5 years term reduction... 😮😁😮
Given I only had 12 to go at the start of the fix...
I feel cunning plans are needed 🎩 :twirly moustache and monocle emoji:

The next quarterly OP would be in June, but I think I'll be keeping it back for now...
I'll still do the weekly TT OP, so should save nearly a week of daily interest pay based on rounding down to nearest £5.

    So tonight's meal was...
Sausage rolls, hash browns and home made coleslaw.
Actually a lot better than it sounds! 😆
In true MSE style we're TT the freezer! 😂
Shops seem to have food near us, so we bought ingredients as we cook.
Not a lot of prepared reheat stuff, so can see why country has issues...

Our kind neighbour has also offered everyone wether spoons frozen meals. Really nice gesture. 👍

The good ship Grogged has sprung a leak! 😞

Went to the loo this morning to find the floor all wet...
...one of the hoses to the sink taps had sprung a leak.

All sorted now thanks to lots of huffing, puffing and muttering (think the PTFE tape may have been the real fix though 😂)

Neighbour is getting second and last wether spoons food delivery today, so will be distributing around neighbourhood. Did check and local food bank is getting majority of it, rest going to staff.

The other nice thing is all the neighbours are talking (rather than just the next doors). I hope this community spirit doesn't evaporate after cv...

I'm other exciting news (which is massively bigging this up 😆) now read to page 200 of shangaijimmy diary... 160 to go.

    Off for a cuppa.
Take care everyone and enjoy the sunshine 🌞
