Great news you are feeling better, the cheese subscription sounds epic.
I am with you on the new boy feeling at work, 100%!
Being at home makes that easier at least, are you working remotely for the most part?3 -

The cheese subscription is a good one, just be aware that they will send you emails for discounts at the end so dont renew until they do,
i bought them as Christmas presents last year.
glad you are starting to feel better4 -
Thanks all.
@Zola. It's mostly home working and probably will be for the foreseeable.
Most of the back to office will be for people and teams that need to be office based and they're on a 1 in 3 rota being in the office.
Anyone else has to book the hot desks.
I'm presenting at a couple of BCI events in the next month or so, so it's not all four walls and cheese!
@powerspowers That is a pondery...🤔 Guess we'll fall back on the news, although I have noticed our Alexa is developing selective hearing.
@Debsnewbudget We do like cheese, and luckily for us I like blue, but not big on French and my wife is the opposite, so we each get our favorites to ourselves! 😁
Whilst it's a great treat, I think there is better value from a local cheese merchant or supermarket when they have a cheese event.
I'm still on diary catch-up - they're some very active ones.
Hopefully I'll read some more tonight, as it's music night, so it's a good time to catch-up.
During lockdown we did the US and UK top 10 albums from the 50s to now, and we're now working our way back to 50s on the 11-20 albums. It's been... eclectic at times!
We've also found a world internet radio station player, so for the odd 20 minutes at the end of the night we pick a random country and listen to a local radio show. Now that has been weird at times!
Take care all!

Now I'm able to get out and about made a few CS and tip runs.
Managed to get rid of nearly all our old clothes, recycling and stuff that we've not been able to do during lockdown.
Feel a lot better for it and so does the garage.
Have a black tie do in September, so going to dust off the old DJ and see if it still fits, been nearly 2 years since it last had its yearly outing!
Other than that, been catching up on the more prolific diaries.
Now for a quick weekend spreadsheet update and then the rest of the day is available for MrsG's lists...If it's not adding up, compound it!4 -
Well done on picking a life partner who prefers different cheeses to you, not sure if that was by accident or design? 😊
I really like your diary pension updates per month so I will borrow that.
I recalculated everything yesterday and put together a small spreadsheet so I can refer back when I get despondent when things aren't moving quick enough on the house savings and pension frontDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.
