Kitchen is a bit odd, but not as odd as the shed!  Carpets could do with a bit of a run over with a vacuum...

"The property is conveniently located within close proximity to a major supermarket, doctors surgery and a pharmacy with leads to the A14 also nearby. "
The A14 is just the other side of the trees. I would call that "adjacent to" - That road can get very busy with 40ft lorries trundling past all day & night.

Property has been on the market since 2018. However, I'm sure the most recent price reduction of £1 will get it moving. Oh, wait. That reduction was in 2021. Perhaps it's time to reduce the price by another £1 for a quick sale to lock in that £9000 increase in the asking price in 2019.

There are probably children born about the time this property was listed who are now going to school.

    The blurb on RightMove says:

#47 is a fantastic opportunity to invest in a quality development in a major UK city, Leicester. Take advantage of a market which is structurally undersupplied, where demand is high and rents are rising. This is one of the safest, affordable investment opportunities available, in an excellent location and belonging to an asset class that has out-performed all others for at least 5 years.

I presume in the five years this property has been on the market, that an awful lot of people including BTL landlords have passed on this opportunity.

To be fair, they are advertising 47 properties. It may be there is only 1 left!

Considering the priorities of the previous ownership, I think "Equidistant from Bombay Nite, Dooley Inn, Bounty Fisheries and McDonald's would probably cover it.

Bold use of carpet in the kitchen.
And the "conservatory" looks more like an extension - Wonder if it has BR sign-off....

The listing says "The property would now probably benefit from some decoration to the interior and exterior." I sort of hope it finds a buyer who loves it just as it is.

EDIT: This is just across the road from the Westboro Baptist Church.

  • I have seen some small studio flats but this takes the Jimmy, the service charge ain't too bad and only £25 PM council tax but £275000 for a flat that is smaller than some bedrooms I have seen.  There is a famous local shop across the road, I think it would be dearer than your average "local" or "express" though.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/122619884#/floorplan?activePlan=1&id=media0&channel=RES_BUY
A band A property is £79 pm so no idea where they got £25.  Even with a single person discount it's more.  Long lease but very cheap service charge. I had to double check it wasn't for a month.

Slightly regretting my nosiness as CT in The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is peanuts compared to mine.   :'(
