I guess they could only get planning permission for something that looked like it might be a stable block. I love light. But I don't get our obsession with skylights. These seem to be arranged in a geometric optical pattern designed to, on hot sunny days (only 3 weeks ago if you remember!), direct the sun into a 3rd degree burn inducing focus. You seriously couldn't sit in there.
Even if they had aircon in that room, you'd end up hot, cold and burnt.
So thanks. I hate it.3 -
