Time warp. My gran used to have one of those pantry cupboards in the kitchen. I remember it from 40+ years ago!

Yes I think this would be 80s, the owners have redecorated around the furniture in rather a piecemeal way - the grey really sticks out! Just imagine ‘Eternal Beau’ crockery in the kitchen and you’ll see it.joho said:Can't work out what era this is supposed to be from. 80s?

That house dates from the 1930s and the kitchen cabinet next to the fridge dates from the late 1950s (my grandparents had one)joho said:Time warp. My gran used to have one of those pantry cupboards in the kitchen. I remember it from 40+ years ago!

Err, for some of us, that kitchen cabinet, in conjunction with a sink, was the kitchen, right through to the late 70s!lincroft1710 said:

Yep, my grans was like this through to mid 80’s. She also had the wall unit with sliding glass doors which can be seen in the photo. I’d love sliding door cabinets in my kitchen.Dustyevsky said:

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/134910107# - Could be a nice project house for someone.. But with a G.7 EPC rating, it is going to need a few quid spent on it.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

What a brilliantly designed property this is. The garden fence nearly touching the front wall meaning there can only be high windows is a delight and the fantastic view of the underside of a concrete ramp from the subterranean bedrooms makes the £550k price seem like a bargain.
