I'm glad it's a 'true' bungalow and not hiding behind a false a back-storey.

The bathroom is more acceptable than some we've seen, but with my eyesight the carpet round the bog would have to go!

The hall carpet fitting would do my nut in. We've just had similar carpet fitted and all the stripes run the same direction on the hall floor, stairs and landing. Couldn't they at least match the stripes on the bottom dogleg steps to the rest of the staircase?

Most stripes will run to follow the stairs (see google images), and they've run  across the narrow hall to try to make it appear wider.
