Back on the market, must have fallen through for the second/third time. Interesting colour choices, I think they'd be quite distracting for a viewing. Also I think those stairs would quickly get annoying.

It's almost certainly fallen through on survey, as that looks like some sort of non-standard construction. There's no mention of it in the description, so people offer, spend money on legals and a mortgage calculation, and get turned down for a mortgage. Rinse, and repeat! It seems terribly unfair to me.PurpleZoombini said:Back on the market, must have fallen through for the second/third time. Yes it seems like they only mention it as non standard construction or cash buyers only in the advert if it's repeatedly failing surveys. Unless you're quite young I'd think most people around here would recognise them as a non standard/bisf property that we have in patches around the city. I do think they should tell people up front otherwise it's just wasting everyone's time. Then again I've seen some sell recently for the same market price of standard homes and not come back on the market. I imagine those buyers had known and approached the right lender though or been cash buyers.GDB2222 said:

Maybe, these are cash buyers who have offered what the property is actually worth?PurpleZoombini said:

The fact that I can glance at the photos and think 'non standard construction' ... I'm not a surveyor, or anything like that. I've just seen rather a lot of properties. There must be loads like me around. These are perfectly liveable properties, and at the right price they make a great home.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Far from the madding crowd, and completely off-grid too.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I can kinda see what you mean , but it is hard to pin down the giveaways by sight. Is it the lack of obvious brickwork, the rendering, the "boxiness" of the house and rooms?GDB2222 said:

And a climbing wall in the bedroom....as you do! I absolutely love the remoteness though - perfect location for a murder mystery 2 -
Yes, the "interest in climbing" is always a useful excuse for why there's so many ropes in the bedroom...Snow_Angel said:
