You can always remove the bath, sink and loo (which I would do) or add a wall & door to make it into en en-suite. It wouldn't put me off buyingeven if living with it like this would be a no-no for me as well.2 -
Must be the service charge forcing the price down.Snow_Angel said:
Agreed. It's a pretty little market town with some fantastic 16th and 17th century pubs and architecture, the lovely Minster, the beautiful open space of Beverley Westwood and a great weekend market. And some of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. (I'm not from there btw! I just visit friends who live there).luvchocolate said:
I assure you Beverley is certainly not a dump[Deleted User] said:
On the face of it anywhere else in the country and they would add another zero to that price. It's near the shops and town centre, it's in good condition and spacious.Dandie89 said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/117017882
Who remembers sitting in the hallway to make a telephone call?
I can only conclude that Hull must be a real dump.
Only issue I can see with that apartment is that it's on the main A-road through the town so may be a little noisy. Plus a £204 p.m. service charge.0 -
Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and finding your SO taking a dump in the dark...lady1964 said:Selby Road, Holme-on-spalding-moorCheck out the master bedroom on the floor plans. The photo of that bedroom shows the bath and a bit of the sink but not the loo 😳2 -

Aside from being massively overpriced for the location it's not exactly Victorian. She'd been dead 30 years!Officially in a clique of idiots6 -
One of the advantages of digital cameras is that you can take so many pictures easily and cheaply.RedFraggle said:

''St Mary's Manor, built in 1815… .. The present owner has lived here since new” 🤔
(yes they do say converted in late 1990s, but the wording was imprecise enough to make me chuckle)8
