Never understood the point in Christmas wall stickers, because of this. Plus other wall stickers. My friend moved into a property and most rooms had these wall stickers including the vomit inducing Live Laugh Love. It takes an age to remove the things with a non scratch scraper and a hairdryer. One of them, took off the paint - think it was cheap paint. My friend just wallpapered the wall.moneysavinghero said:
I think by now they are finally spotting a flaw in their plan to paint on the Christmas decorations.Louise.H said:Another South Wales one (I was house hunting in the area).

My husband thought it looked like a converted public toilet!
People need to buy pictures and wall art. When they move, they can take the things with them0 -
Electronic typewriter (certainly not manual) - a little like an IBM DisplayWrite?moneysavinghero said:
But there is a sheet of paper sticking out of it, so it must be one of those hybrid things.Dandie89 said:
Word processor I would say.moneysavinghero said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/79904241#/

Spot the vendors in picture 6 too. They seem to like red quite a lot as a decor choice.moneysavinghero said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/79904241#/
One Cliff Richard calendar i can overlook, but two (especially when one is in the kids play room) is a bit too strange for me.

Just two calendars? During the 90s, I worked in a department where one of the secretaries was such a fan, one year, she once had not 2, not 3 , but 4 different Cliff Richard calendars for the same year hanging in her small office.moneysavinghero said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/79904241#/

She was probably in her late 20s/early 30s at the time, so not an original "vintage era" fan and with absolutely no ironic intent - she was infatuated with him.

For a brief moment I was starting to think we'd worked with the same person, until I saw the age, my disturbingly obsessive Cliff fan would have been old enough to remember him first time around. As well as the calendars the screen around her desk was covered with Cliff pictures, he was topless in most of them which wasn't a pleasant sight. Luckily I couldn't see them when sat at my desk, would have put me right off my lunch.Patr100 said:

Looking at street view it was clearly a well loved home in the not so distant past.
That's a heritage line trundling past the window so hopefully some railway enthusiast will take on the challenge.2
