One Cliff Richard calendar i can overlook, but two (especially when one is in the kids play room) is a bit too strange for me.
And is that a typewriter? Never knew anyone still used those.
The Cliff Richard calendars made me think of Rick from The Young Ones.

I assume it's because render waterproofs the brickwork, which is handy in a damp climate.NaughtiusMaximus said:
Never quite understood why there seems to be a love of godawful pebbledash in South Wales, seems to be far more common than in England. I lived there for a number of years and still visit semi regularly, it's one of my favourite parts of Britain but there really are some ugly houses around there.Louise.H said:0 -
Spot the vendors in picture 6 too. They seem to like red quite a lot as a decor choice.moneysavinghero said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/79904241#/

It was also used to cover movement cracks in properties, most commonly caused through mining subsidence and so it became associated with poorer quality construction and even today can reduce the value of a property by up to 5%.
So all those cheap houses needed to be built in mining areas probably explains it.

This the one (or similar) which I used to type up homework in the early-mid 90s https://www.zdnet.com/a/hub/i/r/2018/07/23/53507095-08d6-4b63-b46e-ba125d28f7d9/thumbnail/770x578/f844e946cfa601c4b9d856f4e2745a16/brother-word-processor.png and you could set it up to be an actual typewriter and could save documents on a 3.5" floppy disk.moneysavinghero said:
