Strange how the pictures on the wall seem undamaged by whatever struck the place.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

When I worked in Bradford, I was a regular at the Lahori Gate restaurant near to this house. Made a point of never parking in the area - it felt as safe as it looks.Ditzy_Mitzy said:

I am going through the photos as I can't sleep. Each of the photos is a bit mad. Has anyone read Jon Ronson's Psychopath test?od244051 said:

1) The Christmas tree. There are no other decorations anywhere. Perhaps there's simply so much going on they've forgotten it's still up.Tiglet2 said:There are too many comments I could make about this house, but instead I will leave it to all of you experts on this thread!

2) There are two telephones, one ordinary and one cordless, on the same table.
3) There's a Bush/Goodmans/Generic cheapy boombox in the sauna. Who has the money to fit a sauna but not a decent stereo?
4) There's a Harley, looks real, behind one of the settees.
That boombox looks very 80s
Lol at pic 50 -
There is 4 kitchens in that house1

Yep fires are notorious for destroying everything but leaving pictures on the wall untouched. (Paintings or prints can have a fire-retardant varnish so they don’t burn as easily.)FreeBear said:

Strange how the pictures on the wall seem undamaged by whatever struck the place. It’s why people sometimes think the painting is “cursed” and somehow started the fire. In the 80s there was a widespread urban legend about one painting that was in popularised by the Sun https://exemplore.com/paranormal/The-Curse-of-the-Crying-BoyMortgage - £274,000 to pay

I wonder what happened to whoever was living there? So many of their belongings still seem to be strewn about.
