My parents house when I was growing up had something similar, probably not quite as long as that one but still longer than any I've seen in any house I've lived in since. Nice to see they managed to get some council house quotes on the walls and "word art" that just states the bleeding obvious in there as well. All the design no no's in one house

Definitely needs the right style of house though, it works with this one but would look utterly ridiculous plonked on the back of our 1960s 3 bed semi.2
