I really don't get the appeal of rooms where the majority of the wallspace is windows either, just reminds me of being in an office building.
-- Windows are actually usually more expensive per square foot  compared to brick but as with the one I posted , it has the flat roof , adding to the industrial look, which would have been cheaper to build but will need more frequent maintenance to prevent inevitable leaking.

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/97681112#/ We often walk past this house.
I was christened in the church almost opposite and was born just around the corner
Looks like a lovely place to live. Don't think I'll be renting this though!
It is one of the best period houses in the town. "Middlemarch" was filmed in that and adjoining streets. Stamford is ranked as one of the best towns to live in UK.

If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

It looks like a modern visitor centre for some historical attraction. Not a home.
Built in to the side of a bronze age settlement that has been given schedule ancient monument status - Despite this, the "developers" were given permission to build five of these monstrosities on the edge of the site. Perhaps one day, they may well be turned in to visitor centres.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I couldn't work out what you were talking about, but that's because the map on the RM listing shows the property in a completely different place from where it actually is. Do these properties back onto the A road?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
  • Is that house in Australia?

Humbledon Hill is right next to the A690. A nice busy dual carriageway by the looks of it. Perfect for any prospective owner.

Yes the map pin is in the wrong place.
If you go onto maps and move north of the pin, you'll see Humbledon Hill below the A690. Zoom in and you'll see a street called Alpine Way. If you switch to satellite, you'll see the construction site for the houses.

Here I go again on my own....
  • This one is not far from us. It is a pretty good location (especially if you are into golf)
