The erstwhile 'Mucky Mansion' does look rather tired, however, and the television makeover doesn't look to have made a substantial difference.  Many of Jordan's things seem to have gone.  If one is lucky, there might be a few jerrycans of petrol left in the outbuildings.

Nice on the outside but totally devoid of any arts and crafts style on the inside. If people want a modern house why not buy one rather than ruin something that was probably lovely originally 😢

It's a somewhat anachronistic, thirties-built pile in a neo-Arts and Crafts style.  One might describe it as a 'pastiche', in all honesty, given the consummate avoidance of the better aspects of thirties style.  I'm not greatly struck by the building, given its horizontal sprawl and unfortunate resemblance to a pre-war road house.  Some of the materials look nice and were possibly reclaimed but I can't help imagining a sign saying 'The Lord Maude' stuck to the front and, in the back garden, picnic tables with Labatt's umbrellas and a giant fibreglass boot with a slide emerging from the top.  

I don't think anything of great value has been unduly tarnished, in this case.  It also doesn't look to have been loved for quite some time.

Oh deary me... it's like someone did a 'Homes under the Hammer' flip with it isn't it? How to take a perfectly good house and drag the soul out of it.

It looks lived in, in August 2008.
