The property has been served with a planning Enforcement Notice effective from 6th July 2023. A copy of the notice is available upon request.

The satellite view on Google Maps isn't very clear. But, it vaguely suggests that some ... 'stuff' has been going on.



It looks as if the previous owner may have been a poor man's Sir Frank Crisp.

North Lincolnshire council has a search portal for planning enforcements, but nothing comes up. Though, using that portal, no planning permissions for that postcode are found at all, so it seems that I don't know how to use it correctly.

I think it's that one.  8 counts -  "It appears to North Lincolnshire Council that the breaches of planning control have taken place during the last 4 years."

Demolish a whole load of bits at the back and side, remove all the things from the roofline, and put it back to plain render on the front and side.

Thanks. I think that the photos justify my comparison to Sir Frank Crisp. 

The enforcement notice gives the owner 12 months from the 6th of July 2023 to comply. Looks like they haven't done so. 

Could end up being a bargain for someone who owns a wrecking ball. Or, particularly destructive teenagers.

Where did you find it? As the place(s) that @FreeBear and I searched didn't reveal it.

I never got to that page. In searching around, I found this page. https://planninganddevelopment.nelincs.gov.uk/online-applications/  Which doesn't seem to work at all. Your link actually works!

I've found the equivalent page for my local council, and it's being quite informative about the kind of things that are not being allowed.

Entirely normal for Leicester Perhaps I live in a time-warp, garish, city.

Looks to me like no car has been near that garage for perhaps decades.

From the bottom part looks like some sort of  concertina  screen but looks odd as there is already a fixed screen
and also the taps aren't visible in that end of the bath unless they are obscured in the corner.

Oh I don't know - I quite like the blue bathroom suite. Maybe not the tiles so much.
