Crowland is an odd little place. That price is just bordering on viability of demolishing and replacing with 3/4 new houses.

Yes, it wouldn't be cheap. But, it could be a really nice house for someone who needs that much space.  

The layout is awful and the house is poorly positioned on the plot, there is very little rear garden. I think most potential buyers would be attracted by the price but once they realise how much work actually needs doing, they will quickly lose interest. Also I have seen better houses in better situations demolished and the site redeveloped

If that house was externally more aesthetically pleasing and better situated it might be worth a punt to renovate and reconfigure but as it is ........

This house went on the market in March for 500K and a few days after it came to rightmove I called the agent and was told they had 30 enquiries about it already. Access to the "front" door and that terrace are both accidents waiting to happen, That aside, it could be a nice home for someone.

I'm not sure what you mean by the 'terrace'. If you mean the access to the front doors, then surely that thing (whatever it's called) needs a hand-rail of some sort. 

The two areas of concern.

Both of them, in my personal opinion, could benefit from some sort of railing. In the case of the entrance and the narrow ramp, the railing might take a bit of space away from either the ramp, or the driveway. Looks a bit tight.

I suspect that some of the walls have been added during various modifications and could come down. The general shape of the house gives quite a bit of opportunity to have different activities in different parts quite isolated from the rest of the house. E.g. an emo teenager's bedroom.

I never used PrimeLocation so never learned how it works. But, this property is described as an 'eco house' but I can't see an EPC, nor can I see any estimated running costs. Are they there, but I don't know where to look?

There is a brownfield site in Crowland with full p p for 2 x 4 bed houses and 2 x 3 bed houses on the market for £500,000. So this place in approx 0.5 acres at £475,000 has redevelopment written all over it
