Credit card compromised

Remember also that a lot of people are stupid and they may not have understood that they couldn't access any winnings.0

I can't change that my credit card has been compromised, but I AM intrigued to know why someone would commit a crime but have no access to any winnings, unless as a previous post suggested gambling is more important than the winnings.
You think that is strange. Then you will find fraud to Insurance companies, holiday/flight co's (yes we can even see the name of the party on the flight as well as where from & to) ,Takeaways even more intriguing as the retailer has the name and address.....
Still fraudsters are a odd breed. :rotfl:Life in the slow lane0 -

Did they cancel your card ?
Have they sent a new card ?
Have they contacted the Police ?
Have the Police been in contact with you ?
Have you reported it to the Police ?
Do you suspect someone in your family ?0 -
My card was cancelled immediately, I have been issued with a new card, I don't suspect anyone in the family, I haven't reported it to the police as Tesco Finance Fraud dept., said they will now investigate, should I report it to the police?0

Can be a family member in some cases, but when Tesco claim the money back B365 will provide them acc details. So if anything matches. It is possible you may be contacted.
Can be that the people doing it are more interested in gambling than actually winning.
I'm surprised it's common, given the obviously difficulty of extracting the winnings from the CC account, especially when putting in £140 and taking out £100 puts the CC account into a debit balance.0 -

You do not need to do anything further. Tesco are dealing with it. They will not contact the police.
If they get any information from B265 that looks like it maybe related to you or someone known to you. They will be in touch.
Other than that, just sit back relax and forget about it. :TLife in the slow lane0
