I'm pretty much doing the same with holidays taking a lot of Fridays and Mondays - have a lot to get done and the weekend is not enough. Might make sense to do it in the summer, but when the days are shorter sometimes you just need a day to do stuff in.
Good luck with the trainees - I hope they are keen, Untrained and unwilling to learn is not a good combination
I have a couple of Wednesdays as well after Tuesday night football games as get home late. Also breaks the week up quite nicely. We were just too busy in summer to book much time out and where we are booking appointments about 8 weeks ahead it can be difficult to know when to book it for. Hopefully things settle down soon as we have some new permanent staff joining in next few months. Although they will need training up so in reality not likely to be much change until the summer what with new financial year as well. Good news is last year they offered overtime I didn't take it as was bit disillusioned with my job at the time but I will this year if offered again.
Seems to be a bit hit and miss with the trainees. Doesn't help that I haven't really been told what or how we want them taught. It's mostly been about discovering what they actually do or don't know. Manager is back tomorrow so will have a chat with her about the next steps. Originally idea was I would just be available for odd queries. That's not been the case.
Need to pop to supermarket tonight as didn't go over the weekend. Shouldn't need too much its mostly a top up shop of things I couldn't get from Lid! Last week and fresh fruit. I have planned my meals out for this week which always helps. Also found a voucher for M&S only £4 but have put it in my phone case for when I'm next heading that way. I got a nice loaf of bread from there last week which been using for soup so may do that again. Won't be tonight though as opposite direction to Asd@*Dad loan - £5300 - £7300

I decided to do my food shop during my lunch break and treated myself to a coffee as currently top cashback for today only give you £3.50 back for spending over £3.50 on a coffee. Will PAD that money when becomes available and take coffee from my spends. Food shop was more then expected as decided to top up on loo rolls so i always buy 24 pack or 12 as they are supposedly double amount. Not sure if case myself but still. They also had my fave strawberry riben@ so I got 6 bottles as its star product at Asd@ so got 20p back for each as reward and then 10% off anyway for blue light. Can be very hit and miss getting hold of this flavour so when it's there I tend to buy in bulk. If can get on offer like that it's cheaper than getting online direct and it reduces amount of fizz I drink. So to me it's a win even though probably cheaper alternatives out there just not as nice.
Been wearing my walking boots today as need wearing in a bit first before do any long walks in them. Aiming to do 7.5k steps a day as way to build myself back up so hoping it stays dry and I can get out for a walk.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7300

I agree with the beach parking if it something you use regularly and exercise / fresh air etc. life does go on during the money repayment years and it’s important to enjoy yourself where you can.Glad you’ve found another method for bulk cooking. We do the same. Cook one meal and freeze leftovers as I get bored of the same meals every day. I love being able to use the freezer on day when I don’t have time or can’t be bothered though.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Last night I broke a tooth, basically the protective layer has come away so have had to fork out to have a veneer mould done. Once it's back will schedule to have it fitted. Good job I had some money left in my sf/ef pot. £283 later! Going to go console myself with some chocolate.
Good news payslips are on the system and my guesstimate was fairly accurate, I rounded it down to nearest £ so only out by few pence so that's good. Gives me something to work with going forward now when budgeting.
I have to admit after the drama last night of trying to find a dentist I did order a takeaway. It's come out of my spending money. At the moment I combine my food shop and spends money but wondering whether to separate them again. Just hard sometimes when grab something from supermarket that should be personal but is brought in with food shop. I'm also considering converting it to a weekly amount available to me so I don't look at the accountant think I have loads.

OK opened another account on ch@se which put remainder of money in and transferred rest of this weeks allowance. Will go from Monday to Sunday I think. Got lots of plans this weekend for my birthday with family and friends but hoping I won't spend too much as it's my birthday but funds are there for if I do.
Forgot to say my dad dropped me round two lovely bits of steak last night so going to put those in freezer for another day as a treat. Fresh from the butchers. I moan about him a lot but he does look after me as a thank you for all I do for him.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7300
