How are you feeling, do you have any symptoms? Hopefully test comes back negative and you don’t have to wait too long for result.

I just feel like I have the start of a cold but 111 suggested I get tested anyway as it started in my brothers office and all 4 of them have been positive and his fiance. I was with both on Wednesday for several hours. Fingers crossed comes back all clear but still have to isolate until next Wednesday.

  • I'm pleased to say my test has come back negative. I still have to self isolate until Wednesday though.
However to add to the drama my housemate has been sent home to self isolate as person she shares a desk with at work has tested positive. So that means the two weeks starts again today for the plumber to be able to come out. I'm gonna order a heater on amazon I think.

  • Glad you are negative but how annoying re the plumber.  Can’t be helped though. I always try get the boiler serviced in the summer before I need it as I hate being cold.  Has worked well doing that in previous years.
  • It was serviced last week when he came and fixed the thermostat 🙈 but since then the diverter valve has gone. So frustrating.

Good news about your test, not so good flat mate now self isolating, fingers crossed she doesn’t develop symptoms.
  • Payday is finally here and I've never been happier to see it. My budget for October has pretty much been wiped out due to asda food delivery from yesterday. But I now have enough food for 10 days minus bread or milk which may need to top up on but out local sp@r deliver for £3 so if needed I can always order from there. But fingers crossed my housemate doesn't get symptoms and I will be able to go myself in person on weds.
This month I'm planning on minimum payment for credit card and putting rest into topping my funds back up ready for the boiler costs mid Nov and Christmas shopping. If any left over at end of month then I'll make another payment to card. This month is car insurance renewal month so that comes out on 11th and amazon prime fee on 5th as pay yearly. I know its bit of a luxury but I share it with my brother and he shares his net flix with me. I'm bit lost for ideas for Xmas tbh with you. I only buy for a few people anyway so need to just have a browse online for ideas.
Things are a bit better with housemate the online order she went half with me rather than us sorting it into individual amounts. Just have to wait and see how things go now they she is back to having a paycheck again.
