the best camera phone out at the moment is probably the sony ericsson k850 which has a 5mp camera.
theres also the lg viewty which has a touchscreen interface and 5mp camera and 120fps video
If your willing to wait a month or two the nokia n82 will be out and this also features a 5mp camera, and looks like a good phone.
comparion of n82 vs k850 http://nseries-mobile.blogspot.com/2007/11/nokia-n82-v-sony-ericsson-k850i.html0 -
I certainly would favour the K850 over the Viewty unless you really want a touchscreen interface.the best camera phone out at the moment is probably the sony ericsson k850 which has a 5mp camera.

software crashes
media player bugs
camera shutter lens jamming shut
keyboard problems
shoddy build quality in early units
and so on. hopefully by the time you get one the problems should be rectified0 -
personally i would wait for the nokia n82 which comes out next month i think.
Should have a better camera, and uses symbian software which is better than sony ericssons software, also has gps and ngage games. Also has a 3.5mm headphone jack if you like listening to mp3's on your phone.0 -

Absolutely spot on. I worked in an Ericsson Mobile phone factory before they merged with Sony and for those very reasons I would never buy a phone at launch, or within a few months of launch. If Ericsson stay true to form they will already be working on an enhanced K850i.
As for best camera phone, I have the K810i and absolutely love it.Hark at you going all strict

theres a new release of k850i 10th of dec apparently, tbh my issues with the phone are more to do with design and function, ive had two and they both seem fine,Yes Your Dukeiness
