Equifax and 2020 electoral Roll

  • But if the council sent it early part of January then they do have the correct information (unless it was sent Snail Mail) just they haven't updated it . . .
  • My local Authority sent their updated register yesterday, reordered my equifax credit file this morning and still not updated as showing me on electoral roll. Frustrating

You're going to need to give it a lot more than half a day for it to be loaded and QA'd
  • Haha I know, i'm just impatient!
  • My LA sent out their info around the middle of Jan and it only updated 2 days ago.

It's not just impatience, though. This could cause house purchases to fall through as buyers suddenly and unexpectedly find they can't get a mortage because Equifax "thinks" they're not on the electoral register.

I also wonder why this only appears to be a problem for Equifax, and not the other two CRAs, who are both currently reporting my ER status correctly and presumably receive the same informarion from local authorities at the same time.
