Anglian Water - Standard, Watersure or Aquaplus

Options
Good Morning,

I am trying to calculate which tariff we would be better on for Anglian Water but finding it a bit daunting. We are currently on Watersure. Could someone please advise on if we would be better on a different one, thanks in advance..

Something odd with your %'s 000157 / 000143 is an increase not a decrease.

    Take the long term picture - July 2015 @ 000143 to Jan 2020 @ 001024 gives 227 m3 average a year.

  • I think that is because the first reading was june, then there was another in july so it messed up the daily usage

Ignore any estimates and just use actual meter reads and just do the easy sums, why are you faffing around with percentages. You are really only interested in annual consumption and those that are based on actual readings rather than estimates.

    2019 you used 1040-904 = 136
    2018 you used 904-731 = 174
    2017 it was 731-523 = 208
    2016-2017 = 157 to 523 = 366

what happened in 2016 where you seem to use a lot - did you have a leak? What was the reason for the significantly low amount in 2019 (have the kids moved out?).

Your average is 221 per annum but that's distorted by the high consumption in 2016 and much lower consumption in 2019. A reasonable guess would be around 200cu.m a year unless you've changed your habits a lot (and can sustain them) where you could estimate around 175.
