Isn't it time a company like 'Rightio' was given a special slot on a consumer programme to highlight the long list of injustices perpetrated by their unscrupulous trading practices?
I made the mistake of hiring one of their plumbers last year and was shocked at his behaviour and the subsequent obstacle course laid out before me by their 'Customer Service' team.
Of course, i should've read a wider selection of reviews before calling them out.
I got off ligghtly: Some people have been overcharged by thousands of pounds.
You want to see what an unregulated economy in the Tories 'New Rulse Britannia' looks like? Hire one of their plumbers and you'll see.

I'm the 3rd person on this thread that has never heard of this company.
Maybe you should contact one of these consumer programmes to ask them to investigate.1 -
Not heard of them either.
Possibly a regional thing ?0 -
Trying to figure out whether this is:-
a. a political rant
b. a consumer rights issue
c. a common a garden rant.
I'm going to vote for a.0 -
I quite like "New Rulse Britannia" as a phrase. Seems to encapsulate a slightly broken country with no idea what to do next.0

Not heard of them and I was from that neck of the woods!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Whatever happened to using a local trades person, rather than some anonymous national chain that no one seems to have heard of?Life in the slow lane0

Rightio are basically a call centre who arrange for a tradesman to come out.
Our story is basically they left us for 17 days, over Christmas and New Year, with no heating or hot water, because THEIR heating engineer broke a valve in our boiler when putting in a new heat exchanger. We had already paid 100.00 to them, they took 282.00, to complete full payment, from our account without notice.
They would have charged, at least, a further 350.00 pounds to come back and fix it. We got someone else for 120. 00. They want a report to prove their plumber broke the valve! This is a brief description of our dealings. They also bar unfavourable comments from Facebook. I am amazed this company has not been brought to attention.
