    BPA are you still reading?
for weeks I was punishing myself telling myself the only way I can fix this problem is to end it all. I work in the NHS really hard, Like I deal with blood sweat vomit and tears daily and I park here to go off to care for people...

I just thought I cant believe I messed up so bad, all my family, friends work colleagues were telling me how foolish i was to not update details and how id need to pay up for messing up.

    SO yesterday (3/2/2020)

Gemma emailed me to let me know...
That APCOA responded saying as my vehicle registration details were not updated on my season ticket that therefore the charges were issued correctly..(Heart started to sink here) and then it continues APCOA has cancelled all the charges as a "gesture of good will"

Gemma was really kind in saying she hoped it was going to be a relief for me and thaat shes closing the investigation

I seriously am incredibly in awe of all the kindness and help i got from here to get me through this, also was my birthday yesterday and that email from Gemma and APCOAS response was the best gift i could have asked for

You guys have been awesome, you have another victory on your hands. I hope I can be of some help to you all as you have been to me one day.

Thank you so so so so much, buying virtual drinks for all!

BANG! And the dirt is gone. Thank goodness, knew we would get there!

Kudos to Gemma Dorans for resolving this one. :T

More are coming your way, Gemma, as your AOS members are not adhering to the new CoP about keying errors when it comes to apps and pre-stored VRMs.

I wasnt holding out for something this great of an outcome!

Im actually elated. This was such a unique case as are other people's cases on here but i just hope it serves as an example and it gives more hope that you can get through this and there is a way out and we are here to help people even if their situation is really specific there is a way!

Gemma was a star, epic woman to stand out from the typical type who aren't much help or not personable.

Thanks again everyone! CASE CLOSED :j

And do tell your friends who were so alarmist about it, how easy it was to resolve once you knew who in the BPA to complain to and what to say about the Code of Practice & 'keying errors'.

So glad these were cancelled with less fuss than I thought there might be.

    :)

I hope you enjoy shoving that result firmly up the nostrils of all those who advised that paying £700 was the answer to your problem!

Well done on a great outcome. :T

I am pleased that it has all been settled, but why do not people realise that the best way to settle overblown claims sch a this is in the courtroom.

Judges are not fools, they realise that failing to inform a PPC of a change of vehicle is not worth £££s. They came up against these greedy unregulated companies on a daily basis and know the score.

These are simple matters to deal with, why do people make them such a big deal?

But it was never going to get to court - APCOA have never once issued court proceedings against anyone - so the OP would have had 6 years of uncertainty and anguish. The thread reports sleepless nights, panic attacks and even thoughts of suicide - this was definitely not the thread in which to advise trying to goad APCOA into issuing proceedings.

Not everyone has your constitution TD.

    You're telling me!!

It's been a joy telling those that didn't support me! And even then one friend said yeah it's only a good will gesture you were still in the wrong but im too happy to even care. Parents are so happy because they saw the state of me and were so concerned at one point. Honestly I just can't tell yoi enough how awesome u people are!
