New caravan damaged by fire

In may 2019 I bought a brand new adria caravan from a dealer in west Wales. Paying the full sum for the caravan and a motor mover to be fitted by bank transfer. The caravan was delivered and sited the same day of purchase. Having to move the caravan off site in early Oct 2019 we went to use the motor mover which resulted in an on board fire which damaged the 12volt wiring system, fuse box and battery charger. The caravan was taken back to the dealer for an independeant assessment which reported severe bending of the wiring which would have been there from the start. Adria have now taken the caravan back to Slovenia for their assessment. But no real time scale of a repair. How long would be sufficient time to give them to repair or could I have a full refund of my purchase price???

You've set fire to your caravan so you want a full refund? Is that correct as I can't believe I'm reading it.
Edit to say I was miss reading it. The attached mover set fire to it. Who supplies the mover? I'm assuming the same place supplied and fitted it?0 -
Dont tell me you paid for the caravan and the motor mover by bank teansfer, hope Ive read it wrong ?0

Seems pretty well explained in the opening post to me - they paid the dealer to fit the mover.0 -

It isn't 100% clear (to me) the mover was supplied by the dealer. The wording is a little imprecise saying "and a motor to be fitted.......". It would have been absolutely clear if it said "supplied and fitted......"
In saying that the odds are it was supplied and fitted however it's better to be 100% sure than assume.0 -
No i didnt set fire to my caravan there was a wiring fault in the 12 volt loom. Thats what caused the fire?0

Motor mover supplied and fitted. The problem seemed to arise from over heating of the 12 v wiring when the motor mover was switched on because of the design of the wiring loom into the fuse box according to the independant engineers report.0

So, did you pay for the caravan by bank transfer or not?0

Caravan now gone to Slovenia for a fault on the independently fitted motor mover .0

Is nobody reading this thread, I though the OP was pretty clear. The caravan has gone back to the manufacturer because of a (potential) design fault in the internal wiring (OF THE CARAVAN) highlighted when a motor mover was fitted.
Installing a motor mover to a caravan is very common and pretty straightforward, it in itself shouldn't cause a fire.0 -
Thanks neilmcl you seem to be the only one reading the op correctly. Also why does there seem to be a problem with a bank transfer???0
