We help people beat these scam PCNs and gain life experience and confidence from it as well as a story to tell your kids one day, how you went to court and won and faced it all to beat a scam company, during lockdown.1 -

£100 original parking charge
£25 filing fee (which the claimant pays to make the claim)
£50 (capped max) claimant's Legal fees
£25 hearing fee (but we very rarely see that claimed)
That's about it - £200 tops.If you win, you can claim:
£95 towards half a day's loss of earnings/annual leave (take pay slips to prove pay rate)
Public Transport or mileage @ 45ppm
Parking costs (pre-assess at £5, adjust on the day). This won't bankrupt most. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

And if you win and the Judge agrees the C has acted 'wholly unreasonably' and overstepped the bar set in Dammerman, you can claim hundreds. Hours of time spent researching and dealing with the meritless claim, at £19 per hour LiP rate (or higher, if your hourly rate is higher and can be proved).

A high bar to reach but so satisfying when a D reaches it and gets £500 or so!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
