Flat Tyre and Flat Battery

I had a 987 Boxster that was like that. The manual procedure was to jack the car up and remove the wheel then unscrew a plastic panel in the wheel arch. Unfortunately it was below freezing, the car was parked on gravel in deep snow so no chance!
The door opened with a key so I connected a charger to the cigarette lighter fuse socket (after pulling the fuse out) and powered up the car. (Positive to fuse holder, negative to nearby metal). I could then pop the "frunk" and get at the battery to charge it.Signature on holiday for two weeks0 -
