Hi, I'm not sure where I'd even begin to fix this. I have a flat tyre, and I went to change it, and it turns out my battery is dead too. How do I go about resolving this - is there one that I should get sorted first or?

Put the spare wheel on, if you have one, and jump or bump start the car. Use a volt meter to check what its charging at on full load and if its flat the next day then its either discharging overnight or the battery needs replacing.
Check boot interior light, if it stays on when boot is shut or radio, dash camera or alarm (if you have one) as these can drain a poor battery overnight.0 -
Is there a way I can get to the spare tyre without power? I'm unable to unlock it and the tyre is in the boot.0

Battery can be changed by a battery company or your breakdown provider but sometimes their batteries can be very expensive.
Is the flat a puncture or more serious damage? Change tyre or if you can't, your breakdown provider or a tyre company will. Then get tyre repaired or replaced. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Put key in door, open lock. Retrieve spare tyre from the boot.0

What car is it? Have you read the manual to see how to unlock the boot manually?0 -

There must surely be a way to get into it with a flat battery?
Google your particular car, and how to get into it with flat battery, or look for the handbook online?0 -
