Getting connected, time scale?

Hi Hive Mind
Our farm complex has just had fibre lines installed, connected to a central pole.
I've registered for FTTP, with Open Reach.
I was wondering how long a wait I can expect before they connect my house to the pole?
What has been your experience if you have been in a similar situation?

Have you signed up for a service from an ISP? Openreach wont connect your property until they get an order from a provider.0

Thanks littkleboo, why the hell didn't Openreach tell me that!!
I'm with Vodafone for my copper connection.“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”0 -

BT that is not Openreach who do not deal with the public.
You may find that few ISPs want to offer you an FTTP service .0 -

Might be worth a check of the usual comparison sites b4 you speak to Bt etc so you know if they make you a decent offer.0 -
Thanks again guys. I'd like to switch from Vodafone as their communication is abysmal. Now may be the time to do it.“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and who weren't so lazy.”0
