I think I've not explained my post well - those are the times/ miles between services0
-
First service on time, 7k miles early by mileage.
Second service "0.9 year" (11mo?) late by time, 2k late by mileage.
Third service "0.7 year" (7/8mo?) late by time, 4k late by mileage.
None of those would particularly worry me on a car I'd be intending to run for years. Get a good service on it after purchase - including brake fluid and coolant - and just get on with life.0 -
One tip with the puretech 1.2 is to unscrew the oil filler cap and shine a light down there. These engines run a rubber timing belt bathed in engine oil. They can go a bit crinkly and break apart if not serviced with the correct oil.
Because this belt is inside the engine it's quite a job to replace. There's some good vids on youtube to show what a pig of a job this is .
I'd avoid any cars with a belt that appears to be deteriorating or negotiate down by the cost of replacing the belt.0
