For over 12 years now I have been dipping into the 'Techie' board when I have needed advice.
You would think I would be an expert by now but I'm still a member of the 'technophobe club'.
During this time people have disappeared (aliEnRIK) being one but there have always been 'Regulars' who unstintingly impart their great wisdom (of which I can only bow down with envy) on anyone who struggles or has a query.
There are some regulars on here who frequently help others less techie - despite often having to repeat themselves.
I for one really appreciate everyone who gives their precious time to answer and help. After all, one thread can, and does, help more than just the Op.
I thank each and everyone of you - past and present. You are a great bunch of people
Here are just a few of the many people who have helped me on more than one occasion (sorry if I have missed your name, you are ALL appreciated):

MAny thanks to the OP

Some of us are getting to be the "old fart brigade" I'm sure (dcm - that's for us
) ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

You're welcome. Happy to help.0

Oops, I could have sworn you were already on my list dogmary - have amended it as I do know you helped me

DCM - are some repeated because their names have 'evolved'? Too many of them to check out.
It is a bit of a trip down memory lane for a few, I suppose. Always good to remember people and talk about them (nicely) where-ever they are now .
My grandkids never knew their Grandad but they recognise his photos and hear things about him occasionally, so he is still a part of them

Nifty Digits was best - shame he (?) doesn't post here any more.

Yeah, Nifty Digits helped me alot when I had real problems with the Windows 7 update issues and spent ages going through the different stages with me, with screenprints.0
