UKPC SCS Law County Court Claim Form Received

Hi,
Thank you to the creators and regular posters on this forum, there is a lot of information and resources to digest, and it has been very helpful in understanding the legal process and how to deal with rogue parking companies.
I have started this thread as I require assistance with a much larger case involving approximately 50+ Parking Charge Notice's issued by UKPC dating back as far as 2017.
The background in summary, I have been living in a block of flats since 2018, down the side of the flats is a private road with 5 disabled bays and 1 unmarked bay. The rest of the private road is marked with double yellow lines, we have a blue badge for my great grandmother who I have caring responsibilities for. One day UKPC signs popped up, and the car was ticketed whilst in the unmarked bay (sometimes my grandmother travels with other relatives, and takes the badge with her), this ticket and a few others were ignored following a dispute with the warden and advice given at the time by the building caretaker until the badge was returned.
The UKPC warden would also often ticket the car if the badge was only semi-visible to due to frost or snow, sometimes twice or three times on the same day, resulting in more ignored tickets.
The bulk of the problem arose when the badge expired, and the new badge took 2-3 months to be replaced, we received a ticket nearly every single day and have not engaged with UKPC at any point to date.
We have now received a claim form from SCS Law representing UKPC, requesting several thousand pounds for "Parking in a Resident Permit Holder Space" without clearly displaying a valid permit, or "parking in a designated disabled parking space, without clearly displaying a valid disability badge/permit".
So far we have completed the Acknowledgement of Service, and submitted a SAR with UKPC. Currently working on building a defence, and greatly welcome any support or assistance.
For each 'PCN' they are seeking £160, and have listed each in a long list, even the duplication more multiple tickets on the same day.
Thanks

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
Upon what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
The MCOL claim history will have the definitive answer to that?
You say 'several thousand pounds'. What is the total sum - between x and y thousand will be good enough?1 -
50 tickets. Nice !0

Issue date 13 Jan 2020
Acknowledgement of Service submitted on Monday 20th Jan
Sum is between £5000 and £100000 -

That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
When you are happy with the content, your Defence could be filed via email as suggested here:-
Print your Defence.
- Sign it and date it.
- Scan the signed document back in and save it as a pdf.
- Send that pdf as an email attachment to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk
- Just put the claim number and the word Defence in the email title, and in the body of the email something like 'Please find my Defence attached'.
- No need to do anything on MCOL, but do check it after a few days to see if the Claim is marked "defence received". If not, chase the CCBC until it is.
Having filed your Defence, there is more to do...- Do not be surprised to receive an early copy of the Claimant's Directions Questionnaire. Nothing of interest there. Just file it.
- Wait for your own Directions Questionnaire from the CCBC, or download one from the internet, and then complete it as described by bargepole in his 'what happens when' post linked from post #2 of the NEWBIES thread.
- The completed DQ should be returned by email to the CCBC to the same address and in the same way as your Defence was filed earlier.
- Send a copy of your completed DQ to the Claimant - to their address on your Claim Form.
2 - Sign it and date it.

What has your management company said. They need to acknowledge that your permit has always been valid even though they failed to provide a new one.
The UKPC warden is of grave concern by issuing mutli tickets in such a short period. He/she must be on commission/incentive to do that and that is not legal
UKPC are known fraudsters for changing time stamps on photos
SCSLAW are breaking the law by adding £60 to each ticket and a court will no doubt spank them dearly for such a scam
SCSLAW PRACTICE ABUSE OF PROCESS ..... NOT LAWFUL

Thanks for info,
The sum is approx £7.5k, including a £410 Court fee, and £100 Legal representative costs
Curious as to why the amount or local county court is relevant?0 -
Luckily under 10k then
Simply because if your in the right location then due to the size of the claim you may benefit from a "lay rep"
As a very wise sage involved In the parking industry reminded me the other day "the usual defences wont work for ticket numbers like this"2
