Insurance for renting car in Orlando (USA)

Options
Hi, checking the difference in buying insurance from Virgin Holidays v getting it in the UK (basic car hire included for free with holiday).

Virgin includes:
GPS
pre-payable state/local taxes and surcharges/Airport charges and fees
SLI up to $1 million
CDW- zero excess in the event of damage/accident
unlimited mileage and 24/7 roadside assistance

Virgin option one: 1 additional driver £327
Virgin option two: 3 additional drivers and tank of fuel £425

Insurance4carhire offer me for £120:
SLI up to $1 million
CDW up to $125,000, no excess up to $6,500 on damage or theft
7 additional drivers

Does anyone know what the various charges that Virgin say are included, cost please? I suspect it's no where near the difference in prices, but want to double check.

Also does the insurance4carhire CDW and it's included excess allowance seem a good amount please?

Thanks
The way things are going, soon we are all going to be victims of something or other.

Who will we blame then?

If there is no permission for an additional driver on the rental agreement then third party insurance to cover an additional driver will be fairly useless.

The extra drivers are not the same as excess insurance, which is what the quote from Insurancecarhire appears to be for.

Normally Virgin Holidays include an extra driver free. And the insurances is covered. What destination are you going to? If Florida then normally you do not need anything else.

The excess product does not really provide nothing extra as there is Zero Excess.

You need to provide a touch more info on destination and what exactly the Virgin T&C’s say.

    You missed this;
(basic car hire included for free with holiday)

So it's a Fly/Drive with no insurance included.

The OP wants to avoid the relatively expensive Virgin option, instead considering a standalone.
There will be some taxes to pay, as shown in the post above, and of course there will be no additional driver allowed.
