I've been looking at getting a new mobile (Sim free) and wondering what people think is better
Samsung A50 or Motorola G7 / G8

The price is a difference and screen size vary slighly but is one phone going to be significantly better. It needs to keep me going for 2+ years.

My mate has the samsung a 40 and he thinks it's good you could look up the reviews of the phones could also look up the moto g7 power I think it is or g8 power with moto tou get a good screen and a big battery on 5k but the cameras are decent while the samsung prob has better camera than the moto the g7 or g8 power is 139.99 from very at the min

Thank you = I've looked at a few reviews and they both seem comparible and been into CPW to look at both phones. The motos are a very good price

The A50 has more internal memory than the Moto's but that may be expanded with a s.d. card. Both have 4Gb RAM.

I have owned a G7 and tried an A50. I preferred the A50 but it has an in screen fingerprint sensor which is absolutely dire! Yes, there are other methods of security but it should work properly in spite of that.
I opted for a Galaxy A60 which has 6Gb RAM and a "proper" fingerprint sensor on the rear. That model is difficult to find though not being a U.K. device.

Very good screen on the A50 and still an excellent phone.
I like Moto phones and been a "fanboy" but now prefer Samsung.
Both the A50 and G7 prices could well drop too because there is now an A51 and G8.
The G8 Plus was less than £200 on Amazon recently and the A50 more expensive.

yes seen the G8 plus for £199 on amazon and the A50 is £259 - I am very tempted to go for the moto at that price

Like I have the note 10+ 5g but was thinking of getting a spare myself lol least now you have a better idea of what you want
