Virgin Media monthly bill reduced by £17

For info ... my package is an old one - 70Mb broadband, freeview tv and call anytime - was costing £56.51pm.
Called VM, said I was reviewing household bills, and was unhappy with my price - found a similar Sky package for £37pm.
Indian lady (Monica) offered me 100Mb broadband for £59.51pm.
I declined, asked what I need to do to leave VM - she put me through to "disconnections".
I explained it all to Irish Jonathan, said the absolute maximum I want to pay is £45pm. He reduced it to £39.51pm on a new 12 month contract.
Total 20 mins on the phone, £204 saved!

Don't you realise that you can receive Freeview TV for free with an aerial?

Sky running tv campaign, superfast broadband and anytime calls for £29 a month

Freeview is free with an aerial of have Sky tv with superfast broadband and pay £42. you then get sky 1. atlantic etc.

You also get £100 mastercard as would myself or any Sky customer who refers you with a unique link

I believe Virgin offer 14 day cooling off period if you decide to leave.

I did after 4 days and reconnected SKY
