As the UK are saying China did it wrong by going into lockdown?
what would China be like now if they did the same as the UK and didn’t go into lockdown?
The Chinese were fortunate it was the Lunar New Year Holidays. If people had been at their places of work, i.e. dormitory living. Would have been a very different tale perhaps.1 -

Here's how it works though, these HPC nutters cling onto anything that hopefully give them the property crash they have dream't of for so long, and then they also become experts in the "black swan" event that will give them that crash. Seriously, I have seen it 100's of times before, the only difference this time though is that they probably have a few half truths thrown in with most of their guess work, this will at the least be uncomfortable, but not the end of days like they are making out.
Most importantly though, none of them will profit from it, they could not make it in life before and they won't when times get tougher.1 -

Yet again your analysis is just so wide of the mark0 -

Your wellbeing stems around destruction and suffering as well hating everyone you perceive as holding you back in life. Do you honestly think most landlords, especially those who started around the 1990's, are less informed than you and that you know something they don't?
From day 1 I always realised danger was only around the corner and that anything could have gone wrong, now over two decades later I have a massive cushion, do you honestly think we are all so stupid that we have not made safety provisions elsewhere.
I could lose 75% of my wealth and still feel blessed, but if that did happen I would be living in a world where we were all suffering and I would still have way more than most. I just pray that no matter how things ever become I don't ever become as destructive and bitter as the likes of you and Crashy
And for the record and I think I speak for a many other landlords, WE KNOW THINGS ARE GOING TO NOW GET A LITTLE HARDER.
Everyone knows, not just you1 -
I can see a chain reaction of cancelled projects and orders beginning. Companies issuing redundancy notices wholesale starting tomorrow - they have to because the law says a certain amount of notice must be given and there's an existential need to protect cash flow. What would help is any employer who needs it, can enforce a 3 or 4 day week on its employees with pro rata reduction in pay. This will be much better than outright redundancies.0

MobileSaver said:buglawton said:Germany is ticking along with 4x the cases but a fatality rate per case apparently a quarter of the UK's. Is it because of a better funded health serviceI'd be very wary of jumping to any conclusions on such tiny numbers; we are talking about 21 confirmed UK deaths out of a population of around 66 million.
